I love how movie producers bring out sequels of movies, it makes it more profound especially when the initial movie actually made it in the block buster and is proven by everyone to be a success. Well Wrath of the Titan is another movie which tickled my fancy. I like the way Sam Worthington(Perseus) Played his role, half god, half man type of character. In the story line, Zeus, the god of thunder as the myth goes is captured by his son Ares in collaboration with his brother Hades in order to free their father(Kronos) who is one of the Titans that was imprisoned because of their power to destroy things. If you know your Greek myths well enough, you would know that the Titans are actually the first being who created the gods and in turn, the gods fought against them, over threw them and built a dwelling place in the skies called Olympus. Well enough about that, in this story, Hades and Ares captured Zeus in order to drain his power to release the gates of Tartarus which is a prison for Kronos, Zeus’s father. Now the whole thing went south, when Perseus brought his ever blazing hero like skills to the table. Together with help from Poseidon’s son who is also like Perseus, they journey through the pit of Hades lair to find Zeus, free him and save what is remaining of earth is Kronos which is bound to destroy it.
