Ever since the announcement of Sony’s next gen consoles, Microsoft has been on the edge. They’ve been making silly mistakes with their announcements that they have lost the sight of what gaming is all about. Its not about Social media or Movies, its about playing epic games that will make more people buy your device. That’s the point they don’t understand. Microsoft has been pressing on the issue of reusable games but instead of doing the right thing, they are actually blocking the use of it. They never thought of their loyal customers in Africa or Asia who might not have a constant Internet supply to always as they quote “Always Online”. They forgot the fact that its not everyone that has a constant internet access, and this is the reason why Microsoft will Fail with the Next-Gen release unless they do the right thing. Unlike Microsoft, Sony made a come back with the PS Vita System, to verify Online purchased content. Now this content verifies itself and depending if you’re using the PlayStation Plus Membership, it calculates the time-frame on the device itself so if you’re not online the device will know when the game content expires. Likewise Sony did an impressive thing still with their service of having the same game downloaded on multiple devices. With the coming of the PS4, Sony claims it will do “The Right Thing” and for one thing i applaude Sony is the fact that they remembered those of their customer that wouldn’t have a constant Internet access to implement an Always Online mode of Playing games. Now back to the title of this articles, I believe in all manner that Sony is actually watching and patiently waiting to see Microsoft fail with their Next-gen consoles, and so far Microsoft is heading there. People are starting to dislike the fact that they are not doing what they came out into the Market to do and at E3 Microsoft will be challenged.
