I believe this is one of the best feature YouTube has so far, what they called LeanBack. It’s a method whereby you can use any mobile phone as a remote control for YouTube, you can cycle through different channels and play clips on your mobile and watch it on a wider screen, be it on your PC or on a PlayStation 3 console. Today, am going to show you how you can use your mobile phone as a remote feature to watch YouTube on your TV screen. The mobile phone am using is Samsung Galaxy, but this can work on any mobile phone as well, and a PlayStation 3 console with the new YouTube App installed on the PS3 console. it is a very simple process, so I’ll just go straight to the point.
STEP 1:
First of all get your mobile phone and PS3 console connected to the Internet, doesn’t matter if they are in the same network as long as they are connected to the Internet is pretty much fine. Turn on the YouTube App on your PS3 console and go to Sign in, it will display a series of number for you.
STEP 2:
Then go to http://www.youtube.com/activate on your mobile phone to Add a Screen, this will require you to sign to your YouTube account and you will have to input the number given to you on your PS3 console on your mobile device. After that just press Enter or Go and you’re done.
